Dear UCCF Community,
There are too many memories, celebrations, and soul-filling moments to recount right now, but I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
First, thank you for believing in this ministry. United Campus Christian Fellowship was created because we saw the need to unite – with our denominational partners and our students. We had some bumps along the way, but in the last 5 years, the Spirit has been at work and I am so grateful we followed their lead.
To our students, Thank you. I want to scream this, THANK YOU! Thank you for showing up, for being engaged, for recognizing that we need one another and a space to talk about our faith. This ministry isn’t the same without each and every one of you. Please always know there is a space for you here. And a special thank you to our student leaders who are making sure our programs keep going.
To our board members, thank you. All of you, old and new. You have tirelessly worked to support this ministry. Each of our board members are volunteers who are passionate about the mission and vision for UCCF. Thank you for taking the time to serve God in this way. Also, thank you to Cora Glass and SuLin Kotowicz who serve as our admin and financial contractor. They are invaluable in this work.
To our local congregational partners, thank you. We couldn’t do any of this without you. You bring this ministry to life with meals, worship, donations, and being safe congregations we can send students to. Thank you.
If you’ve noticed, United Campus Christian Fellowship exists and shares the love of God because of YOU. It was an absolute joy to be the Mission Developer and then Director of Ministries for UCCF, but this ministry isn’t dependent on who is leading it. It’s about the body of Christ that comes together to create space for everyone to belong.
So friends, my prayer for you all is that you always remember how much you are loved, that you feel the presence of God at UCCF, and that you continue to grow in faith for years to come.
I love you all and will continue to pray for you and UCCF!
