Have you met Caitlyn? She will be serving as UCCF's point person for ministry happening on Grand Valley State University's (GVSU) Campus.
Caitlyn Spoelman is currently pursuing her degree at Grand Valley State University (GVSU). Originally hailing from Ravenna, Michigan, Caitlyn is deeply rooted in her community and values the importance of inclusivity and belonging.
At GVSU, Caitlyn is pursuing a diverse academic path. As a Dance major with minors in Sociology and Nonprofit Administration, Caitlyn is exploring the intersections of art, society, and community engagement.
Caitlyn's journey with University Campus Christian Fellowship (UCCF) began when she discovered the organization through Campus Life Night and her search for an inclusive community on Lakerlink. Caitlyn joined UCCF because, “Everyone at UCCF is so welcoming and kind. They truly make you feel like you belong in UCCF.”
Caitlyn's internship responsibilities will include re-registering UCCF as a student organization and preparing all necessary background work for the upcoming academic term.
Looking ahead, Caitlyn's biggest aspiration for UCCF is to foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where all students feel accepted and valued. She hopes to contribute to creating a space where individuals can gather, connect, and find a sense of community amidst their university experience.
You can support Caitlyn's work with UCCF at Grand Valley State University through your donation to our Summer campaign.
This week we aim to raise $3,000 to support our 3 UCCF interns in the 2024-2025 school year. Your donation will go a long way to helping us have a welcoming and impactful presence at all three campuses UCCF serves. Could you help us meet the halfway point of our goal today?
