United Campus Christian Fellowship is thrilled to receive a generous grant from United Women in Faith (UWF) to provide college students access to impactful anti-racism literature. This aligns with UCCF's mission to create inclusive environments for students to explore faith and UWF's commitment to empowering women and promoting justice.
The grant supports student participation in anti-racism education, fostering spiritual growth, leadership, mission, social action, and community. The program offers diverse books across genres, covering topics like Education for Mission, Leadership Development, and Social Action. The UWF reading list is open to everyone.
Through this grant, UCCF students can choose a book from the UWF catalog, engaging with narratives that promote understanding and empathy. Books like A Brown Girl’s Epiphany and Our Missing Hearts offer insights into racism's impact, fostering dialogue and action. Reading these books empowers students to become informed advocates for a more just society. By learning from others' experiences, students develop empathy and understand systemic inequalities, equipping them to advocate for change.
You too can join UWF's reading program! Visit https://uwfaith.org/resources/reading-program/ to learn more.
UCCF expresses deep gratitude to UWF for their support. We are confident this initiative will positively impact students, fostering a more inclusive campus and empowering future leaders.
