Every December, my spouse and I sit down together to determine which ministries and nonprofits we would like to support throughout the next year. Choosing to be monthly givers to United Campus Christian Fellowship in 2024 was an incredibly easy choice for us. The ministry happening in the Grand Rapids area through UCCF is inspirational—ecumenical community is being formed and students are learning about the expansiveness of God’s love.

In our world today, it is now more important than ever for young people to feel a place of belonging…and to have leaders in the church who tell them that they matter and that they are loved because of who they are.

I went to Grand Valley for undergrad and I would have benefitted so much from this ministry. I’m thankful that students today have UCCF to turn to as a church, a place of belonging, and a community. The Church today has a big job to do. A job to welcome the stranger, feed the hungry, and tend to the marginalized. It brings me great hope to see UCCF embodying these values.

Monthly giving for us has been automatic and very simple. We get an email each month thanking us for our gift. The email is a good reminder to stop and pray for United Campus Christian Fellowship. I’m proud to say that in our discernment, we will be continuing our monthly giving in 2025. I invite you to join us. Thank you, UCCF for being Church at work in the world!
