Lily Mattson, a Graphic Design major with a minor in Photography at Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD), hails from Grand Rapids, MI. Her journey with United Campus Christian Fellowship (UCCF) began during orientation day when she stumbled upon a student organization flyer. Intrigued, she visited their table at the opportunity fair drawn to the prospect of intertwining her faith with her college experience.
Lily cherishes UCCF not only for its welcoming Christian community, but also for the genuine care and support it offers students. Lily writes, “UCCF is always checking in on me to make sure I am doing well on a personal level, which makes me feel loved and keeps me encouraged!”
As an intern, Lily will assist in event planning and promotion, leveraging her graphic design prowess to create visually captivating marketing materials. Her aspiration is simple yet profound: to extend the welcome she finds at UCCF to her fellow students at KCAD – allowing them to feel the same support, encouragement, safe space, and resources that the organization has given to her.
