Who We Are
Inclusive, Accepting, and Committed to social justice.

United Campus Christian Fellowship (UCCF) is a multi campus, multi denominational campus ministry. We currently have ministry partners in the ELCA, PCUSA, and the United Methodist Church. However, all students, faculty, and staff of various faith backgrounds are welcome.

Vision: We are an inclusive community enabling individuals to grow in faith and social justice.

Mission: To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world by welcoming and affirming, equipping, challenging, the mind, heart and spirit.

Values: Open Doors, Open Hearts and Open Minds.

What We Do
We Feed.

Spiritually: Through weekly Biblestudy, worship andprayer.

Physically: Providing food at each ofour Open Table meals.

Emotionally: Creating space to formfriendships and long-lasting community.

UCCF is present on campuses of Grand Rapids Community College, Grand Valley State University, and Kendall College of Art and Design. We welcome all students from colleges in the Greater Grand Rapids area.

Statement of Inclusion
UCCF celebrates God’s gift of diversity.

We welcome and affirm people of every age, race, ethnicity, immigration and economic status.

We welcome and affirm people of every gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.

We welcome and affirm people of level of education, and family structure and marital status, and social status.

We welcome and affirm people of all physical and mental abilities.

Absolutely everyone is welcome to participate in UCCF.

We acknowledge that we live in a world of profound social, economic, and political inequities.  As followers of Jesus, we commit ourselves to the pursuit of justice and pledge to stand in solidarity with all who are marginalized and oppressed.

Our Director
Pastor Laurie Kenyon Woods

Pastor Laurie Kenyon Woods brings a deep love for ministry and a heart for young adults, with years of experience serving congregations in Wisconsin and North Carolina. She is passionate about walking alongside students through the ups and downs of life, and about building communities marked by grace, inclusion, and joy.

A native of Kalamazoo, Laurie is glad to be back in Michigan and especially excited to call Grand Rapids home. She has lived in many interesting places and loves exploring new things—whether that’s a local coffee shop, an art show, live music, or a yoga studio. At home, she shares life with her also-a-pastor husband, energetic toddler, and very sweet dog.

Laurie also loves to read (especially fantasy!) and finds joy in long hikes, exploring national and state parks, and spending time outdoors. She is convinced the Great Lakes are better than the ocean and treasures every chance to be near the water.
