United Campus Christian Fellowship (UCCF) has been a beacon of support for college students in Greater Grand Rapids. Partnering with multiple denominations, UCCF serves students from Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids Community College, and Kendall College of Art and Design, fulfilling a common vision of ministry to young adults in Michigan.
Through the generosity of our supporters and donors, UCCF provides needed support to young adults by addressing physical and spiritual hunger.
Addressing Food Insecurity: We offer free "Open Table" meals, which are critical as 1 in 3 GVSU students are food insecure. These meals also give students opportunities to build friendships and create community.
Creating Safe Spaces: UCCF aims to be a non-judgmental and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ identifying students, with 60% of Open Table attendees being LGBTQIA+.
Pastoral Care: We offer pastoral care, mentor students in faith, support those facing mental health challenges, and help discern callings to ministry.
Empowering Student Leaders: We employ student interns from each campus, whose unique insights ensure our ministry remains relevant and visible. These interns help us stay relevant and attentive to the unique needs of students on each campus we are in ministry with.
We are so grateful for our supporters who share financial contributions, prayers, and resources that help our presence on campus grow and thrive. Currently new and returning students are making their way to campus! Could you help us support young adults through a gift of $29 or more in honor of the incoming class of 2029? Donations of any size make a tangible difference for our community. Share your support today at https://uccfmi.org/support.
