On Wednesday, March 25, UCCF attended an interfaith event and meal at GVSU. The theme was religion and relationships and our discussion centered on the role of our faith or spirituality in the many kinds of relationships we have - from family to friends to romantic ones. One discussion question was "What do you want to be remembered for?" After the twelve students and five staff/faculty replied, one student commented that everyone present, regardless of faith (or lack thereof), wanted to be remembered as someone kind. It was such an important reminder how essential these kinds of spaces are for conversation and connection with our peers, colleagues, and neighbors.
