We recently caught up with Julia Droscha, Music Education Major at GVSU about what drew them to join UCCF:
“I noticed UCCF on campus when I was a freshman at GV, at that time I was a part of a few other Christian organizations on campus. As I became more involved with the other organizations, I felt more and more out of place. At UCCF, the more I showed up the more I felt at home. As a queer person, being a part of an affirming Christian community is really important to me. In UCCF, I know I am cared for, loved for who I am, and who God made me to be. UCCF is a joyful community, and it is where I can focus on my relationship with God without fear of judgement.”
