We're thrilled to introduce our 2026-2027 UCCF interns! Our interns help us connect with students on campus, plan relevant and fun programs, and navigate each of the campuses our ministry serves.

Leadership development is an important part of the intern experience at UCCF, giving them opportunities to practice leadership, reflect on what they are learning, and discern how God is calling them to use their gifts.

Our leadership development theme for the year is "Lead From Where You Are." We believe Christian leadership is less about being in charge and more about creating communities where others can flourish. We realize that our interns are college students who are learning and growing alongside the students they serve. Through their work and relationships at UCCF, our interns are learning to lead with humility, make space for others, and recognize their gifts and leadership as a vocation rooted in service.

We are excited to walk alongside these students in this season of their lives, and grateful for the prayers, encouragement, and financial support that make this ministry possible.

We're glad to welcome back returning intern, Caitlyn Spoelman!

Caitlyn is a senior dance major at GVSU from Ravenna, Michigan. Caitlyn is returning as an intern this year because, "UCCF is the welcoming, accepting, and loving community that I was searching for when I came to Grand Valley. I've learned so much about myself and my faith, and met so many people through UCCF."

Welcome, Ben Brinks!

Ben is a senior majoring in international relations & French at GVSU from Ada, Michigan. Ben says he became involved in UCCF "because I was looking for both spiritual growth and a welcoming community at GV. I think I’ve really found that with UCCF. I’ve had a lot of fun and learned tons with them over the past year."

Welcome, Rye Roth!

Rye is a junior at KCAD studying digital art and design from Mishawaka, Indiana.  "The community is very warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental," Rye reflected about her experience last year. "I want to be a part of it!"

UCCF is proud to support Caitlyn, Ben, and Rye. Offering this paid intern program requires $3,000 for intern compensation plus additional funding to support their leadership development and resource the programs they provide. As we begin this school year, you can help support this important program with your generosity by making a gift to our annual fund
