This past Saturday, February 7th, was an incredibly special day: my installation as the new Director of Campus Ministries for United Campus Christian Fellowship (UCCF). It was truly a gift to be surrounded by area clergy, partners from our four supporting denominations, dedicated board members, students, family, and friends as we celebrated this significant milestone! While it was deeply memorable for me personally, I truly believe everyone in the room felt a collective sense of joy and gratitude for the vital work UCCF empowers us to do together. Speaking with people afterward during the delicious cake reception, there was a palpable feeling of hope and unity—something certainly needed and welcome these days. From the thoughtful words and prayers of our area partners to the beautiful hymns and the shared Holy Communion, the day was truly perfect.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Westminster Presbyterian for graciously hosting the service in their stunning chapel, to every person who attended and participated, and to everyone who has held us in prayer during this time of transition and change. UCCF is a Spirit-filled ministry, rooted deeply in the radical, open, and transformative love of Jesus Christ, and Christ was truly present in the Installation Service. I'm genuinely excited to see all the amazing things God will continue to do in and through each and every one of us. Thank you for journeying with us along the way through your presence, prayers, and support!
